Skip to contentFor nearly four years, Mr. Mohammad Pirayesh and I were in discussions before he decided to engage me to establish an EL light panel factory in Kuwait. This extended period of planning and communication laid a solid foundation for what was to come. By this point, I had accumulated extensive experience in printing EL Light Panels, particularly large-format Electroluminescent Panels. My expertise and commitment to quality were crucial in shaping this ambitious project.
One of the critical decisions involved selecting the right equipment for the factory. I recommended a reputable Taiwanese machine maker, known for producing high-quality screen printing machines at a reasonable price. This recommendation was based on my previous positive experiences and the machine maker’s proven track record.
The factory setup included several specialized departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations:
Graphic and Circuit Design Department: This department is responsible for designing and printing Positive Films and Graphic Overlays, which are essential components in the production process.
Screen Tooling Department: This team prepares silk screens and casts the printing images, ensuring precision and quality at every step.
Screen Printing Department: This department is equipped with a large-format printer comparable to the Thieme 3000S but at half the cost, as well as an A1 printer for smaller EL Light Panels. It handles the core printing tasks.
To further enhance the efficiency of the final assembly team, the machine maker designed and built customized backlit tables upon request. These tables are crucial in improving the assembly process, allowing for better visibility and accuracy. A dedicated team was also formed to handle custom-designed programmable inverters that were ready to meet the expected market demand.
The journey from designing the factory layout to its operational status was smooth and without a hitch. This seamless process included:
Designing the Factory Layout: Careful planning and design ensured that the factory space was optimized for efficiency and productivity.
Renovation and Setup: The renovation phase was completed swiftly, followed by the setup of the machinery and other essential equipment.
Machine Unpacking and Commissioning: Each piece of equipment was carefully unpacked and commissioned, ensuring that it was ready for operational use.
Operator Training: Comprehensive training was provided to the operators, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle the machinery effectively.
In less than three months after commissioning, the Kuwait EL Light Panel factory was operational, producing high-quality EL products for the country. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the meticulous planning, innovative solutions, and collaborative efforts that went into the project. The factory is now poised to make a significant impact on the local market, offering advanced electroluminescent products that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
